Amazing Grace!

Hello!

It is freeeeezing outside, but I write with much joy with the sun shining through the window! In anticipation of my upcoming surgery, I had a repeat breast MRI this past week to check the progress of the tumor and double check the health of the unaffected breast. I know that the sonograms throughout chemo have shown decreased size of the tumor, but sonograms have never been my favorite method regarding accuracy. Therefore this MRI compared to September would be significant. The results are back and the tumor shrank from 4.8cm to about 1 cm over the course of chemo, with markly reduced density! Also, the unaffected breast remains healthy and the lymphs still look great. Praise God!

Because of how blessed I feel, I thought I would share a song with you all. It is a different version of "Amazing Grace" by Chris Tomlin. When I was first diagnosed, I sent you all a sermon on grace that meant a lot to me. This song has had a powerful meaning ever since that sermon and I hope you all take a second to listen to it and realize how awesome God's grace really is. Below are the lyrics and link. ("Glory in the highest" is also really great)

I'll write more after surgery! Thanks to all of you for your never ending prayers and support!

Love,
Jami

"Amazing Grace...my chains are broken" by Chris Tomlin

Amazing grace How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now I'm found Was blind, but now I see 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear And grace my fears relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed My chains are gone I've been set free My God, my Savior has ransomed me And like a flood His mercy reigns Unending love, Amazing grace
The Lord has promised good to me His word my hope secures He will my shield and portion be As long as life endures
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow The sun forbear to shine But God, Who called me here below Will be forever mine Will be forever mine You are forever mine
